Tip #1

I know you were just dying to know what tip #1 was, right? Well, the chances are you don't even know what I'm talking about so I'm going to refer you back to the previous post (read the last line).

Tip #1 in my self-help book is this: Buy a dog.

They're freaking awesome. Not to mention, absolutely adorable. If you have a choice, definitely get yourself a miniature goldendoodle.

Say what now? Yes. A miniature goldendoodle. It's a mix between a golden retriever and a miniature poodle.

Say what now? Yes. A golden retriever and a miniature poodle. They do it by artificial insemination. The result is this totally adorably fluffy dog that will love you forever and ever.

  1. I agree, dogs are pretty amazing. I have a Boykin Spaniel and she is simultaneously the cutest and most mischievous living creature I have ever encountered.

  2. What? Is this information just something you pulled out of your hat or???

First of all, a Miniature Goldendoodle doesn't exist. Secondly, small Goldendoodles are not created simply by artificial insemination. I think that you need to do some homework.

If a breeder has a good stud dog, no artificial insemination is needed. A miniature Poodle can easily reach a Golden Retriever for mating. Easily. This does NOT produce offspring as all staying 15 pounds or under. Because the Golden Retriever is a part of the lineage, all of the puppies will be different sizes within the litter.

Please do your homework before putting this type of silly info out there for the general public to read.

  3. I apologize for any misinformation that may be on this post. I own a "miniature goldendoodle" so my assumption was that they existed, although the term "miniature goldendoodle" may not be correct.

I was also informed by the breeder that sometimes that's how the dogs are bred, and I once again apologize if this is not the case.

  4. Question to Goldendoodle For Sale: What is the difference between "Miniature Goldendoodle" and "small Goldendoodle"? I thought "Miniature Goldendoodle" is a pretty much a general term people use when I googled it.
